Established in 1989, the mission of WalterLane is to offer a different kind of staffing solution. While most recruiting companies focus on quotas, sales calls, and numbers, our emphasis has always been on the people with whom we build relationships.  I knew if we were able to truly focus on our clients’ business needs and candidates’ career goals, then success would follow.

Small by design, the boutique nature of the firm has allowed us to consistently maintain a personalized and consultative approach to our work. We have an in-depth understanding of the DC metropolitan business community, which uniquely positions us to match qualified applicants with the best suited organizations.  In doing so, we rely on three core tenets to our practice — full transparency, confidentiality and responsiveness.

When working with clients, we handle all assignments with care and discretion.  Likewise, job applicants can be sure we will never provide identifying information to any third party without explicit consent.
